I've been thinking about Reddit stock, and there seems to be a problem with the company's business model because there's no customer service, and the company empowers non-employee moderators to essentially kick their customers off the platform for whatever reason they like. I can't think of any other business that has such a characteristic. It creates a very unprofessional way to operate a business, and puts a lid on user growth when the company has essentially no control over their customers' experience on the platform, or if their customers get kicked off the platform by what is essentially other customers. Even for a social media company, this is an outlier business model. I have serious concerns about the long term growth of Reddit stock given this fundamental business model.
